Windows 8.1 Preview which is scheduled for June 26 launch will also be getting the well-known Betta fish from Windows 8 and Windows 7. The Betta fish which originally made its way to the consumer preview of Windows 7 was also selected as the boot image of Windows 8 Consumer Preview. Now, it seems that Microsoft is also opting for the same Betta fish from Windows 8 and Windows 7 as the boot image of Windows 8.1 Preview.
The image posted by Win8China shows the Betta fish boot screen of Windows 8.1 Preview which is similar to Windows 8 but, carries more colors as compared the blue and red of Windows 8 and it also has been Metrofied similar to the Start Screen and Modern-UI of Windows 8 and Windows 8.1.
This new Betta fish would be working as the boot screen image in Windows 8.1 Preview just like Windows 8 and Windows 7 and it is expected to be available in Preview version which would be released on June 25, 2013.
Windows 8.1 would be getting a lot of new and improved features. You can read about the features of Windows 8.1 in our FAQs.
