Windows 8.1 Preview which is scheduled for June 26 launch will also be getting the well-known Betta fish from Windows 8 and Windows 7. The Betta fish which originally made its way to the consumer preview of Windows 7 was also selected as the boot image of Windows 8 Consumer Preview. Now, it seems that Microsoft is also opting for the same Betta fish from Windows 8 and Windows 7 as the boot image of Windows 8.1 Preview.

Betta fish of Windows 8.1

The image posted by Win8China shows the Betta fish boot screen of Windows 8.1 Preview which is similar to Windows 8 but, carries more colors as compared the blue and red of Windows 8 and it also has been Metrofied similar to the Start Screen and Modern-UI of Windows 8 and Windows 8.1.

This new Betta fish would be working as the boot screen image in Windows 8.1 Preview just like Windows 8 and Windows 7 and it is expected to be available in Preview version which would be released on June 25, 2013.
