Magnifier can be useful sometimes when you have to zoom-in on a certain thing being displayed on your phone’s screen. Windows Phone 8.1 doesn’t have zoom in support everywhere including Start Screen Settings etc and only few apps allow manual zooming of content being showed on your screen.
But, if you are still looking for a way to zoom anywhere on your Windows Phone then, you are at right place. You can zoom in to a certain level to anything being displayed on your phone’s screen and you don’t need to have special app to do so but, there is a built-in option for that.
Simply follow the instructions below to know how to zoom in on content which is being displayed on your phone’s screen.
- First of all, open up ‘Settings’ and navigate to ‘ease of access’. Your ease of access options will open.
- Here scroll down until you see the magnifier options. Turn ‘On’ the magnifier by moving the slider switch to right.
- Now, you will be able to zoom in to a certain level by ‘double tapping’ with ‘two fingers’ on the screen which will zoom the content in.
Tip: You can move your screen while zoomed in by tapping with ‘two fingers’ and moving them to scroll.
- That’s all!
I personally use this feature to zoom into websites and pictures on Instagram which can’t be zoomed in but, this feature lets me get a closer look.
