We have seen reports about the upcoming successors of Surface tablets like the Surface Pro 2 tablets and their accessories like dock to connect to external display with ports and a power cover with battery to provide more battery timing and keyboard support. Now, the details of the upcoming successor of Surface RT has appeared and the tablet will be packing much-more power like a Tegra 4 processor and 4GB of RAM.
Neowin is reporting that the Surface RT tablet, Surface 2 will be packing a very powerful and up-to-date hardware which will make the tablet a true power hose. Surface 2 will have the Tegra 4 processor from NVIDIA which has been designed for low power consumption as compared to the current Tegra 3 of Surface.
Surface 2 will also pack a full-HD screen with a screen resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels as compared to the 1366 x 768 pixels in current generation one. The RAM of Surface 2 will be jumped to 4GB. The kick stand will also be improved with support of two way standing.
Other than the hardware changes and kickstand, Surface 2 will have the same design and look like the current Surface RT.
Microsoft is scheduled to launch the Surface 2 and Surface Pro 2 with launch of Windows 8.1 on October 18, 2013.
