MX Player finally arrives in Store for Windows Phone and Windows 8.1 as beta after success on Android

MX Player, the most popular video player from Android has landed in Store for Windows Phone and Windows 8.1. MX Player is a video player which includes dozens of additional options to play videos which can’t be found in any other video player in the market.

Recently we saw the launch of VLC on Windows Phone 8.1 as beta and seeing the competition between VLC and MX Player on Android, the MX Player has also made their app available on Windows Phone and Windows 8.1

The app not only includes the features from Android version but, it has also got a unique and completely new interface on Windows inspired from the Modern-UI.

The app includes the options like ability to play videos and audio in the background. You can choose whether to resume the video on launch from play from start. There are dozens of more features which we would be covering in our hands on experience.

MX Player beta is now available for download from Store for free and has a download size of just 1MB on Windows Phone but, we can’t find the download links for Windows 8.1 version (download links and details about Windows 8.1 version will be added as soon as the app is discovered in Store). Windows 8.1 version has .9MB in download.
