Microsoft will unveil more features of Windows 10 on PC, Windows 10 Phone and Xbox at January 21, 2015 event


Windows 10 was launched as Technical Preview for Windows Insiders in September 2014 and since then, we have seen a total of three official builds of Windows 10 with new features. Now, the software giant has announce an event  scheduled for January 21, 2015 where the software giant will talk about more features of Windows 10 on different platforms.

Microsoft has announced that the event will cover all aspects of Windows 10 whether it’s on PC like regular Windows, on phone, on tablets in form of continuum or on the Xbox.

Microsoft’s team leaders including the Windows/Xbox lead, Terry Myerson; Window team lead, Joe Belifiore; Xbox lead, Phil Spencer would be joining in the event which points that Microsoft will talk about all three major platforms including PC, Phone and Xbox. Microsoft’s CEO, Satya Nadella will also talk in the event which might make it more important.

Mary Jo Foley reports on ZDNet that Microsoft won’t just shows the new features of Windows 10 on phones, tablets and Xbox but, we might also see an early launch of SKU’s for these platforms.

January 21, 2015 is almost around the corner and we have a lot to hear about Windows 10. Stay tuned, on Windows8core as we will be posting more details as soon as we hear them. Microsoft will be live streaming the event on the web but, we will have to wait for January 21 to get the actual links for streaming.
