Microsoft will release a critical-emergency security patch for all Windows versions including Windows 8.1 and Windows 10 soon [Update: Now Available]

Microsoft usually releases the new patches for security on the Patch Tuesday i.e. the second Tuesday of each month but, this month’s Patch Tuesday has already passed. But, the software giant will be releasing a new emergency security patch within few hours.

The software giant has released this patch on emergency basis which fixes the loop holes in all Windows versions till date including Vista, Windows 7, Windows 8, Windows 8.1, Windows RT and newly launched Windows 10 Technical Preview.

The patch will be downloadable from Windows Update as well as the Microsoft Security Bulletin page after 10AM Pacific Time.

It seems the vulnerability is already affecting the Windows devices and Microsoft wants it to patch it as soon as possible.
