Microsoft is taking the stage at Mobile World Congress on March 2, 2015 where the software giant will be released two new Windows Phones devices. Although, the software giant hasn’t announced the new Windows Phones but, Microsoft News Center published a blank page confirming the names of upcoming Lumia devices.
Microsoft still has to take the stage on MWC and announce the new Lumia Windows Phones but, it seems the Microsoft News Center was in a hurry to publish the news. Microsoft will announce two new Windows Phones including Lumia 640 and its bigger brother, the Lumia 640 XL.
Lumia 640 will be the successor of Lumia 630/635 which will be getting bigger screen with better processor and RAM. It will also feature better camera on back.
Lumia 640 has the following specifications:
- 5-inch screen with resolution of 720p
- Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 quad-core processor
- 1GB of RAM
- 8GB of internal memory
- 8MP camera on back
- 1MP camera on front
Lumia 640 XL will be the bigger brother of Lumia 640 which will have the following specifications:
- 6-inch screen with resolution of 720 pixels
- 1.2GHz Snapdragon 400 quad-core CPU
- 14MP Pureview camera on back
- 5MP front facing camera
- 32GB of internal memory
- 2500mAh battery
Microsoft will be announcing these new Lumia Windows Phone during the event few hours from now but, it seems the specifications of the devices seems legit since the previous leaks also suggested the same.
