Microsoft has recently announced that Nokia Lumia branding would be replaced with ‘Microsoft Lumia’ or possibly ‘Microsoft’ branding on all future Windows Phones. Now, a new Lumia phone has appeared on the Chinese TENNA which shows the Microsoft branding on front and back of new device.
The images leaked from Chinese social network, Weibo shows that the device RM-1090 Lumia phone with Microsoft branding is already in production and might be released soon. The leaked images show that it might be a dual-sim variant of the Windows phone from Microsoft.
Although, not much specifications of the Microsoft branded RM-1090 are known yet, but, we do know that it will have a qHD screen with resolution of 960 x 540 pixels making it a low-to-medium end Windows Phone device. The back of the device does show a camera with LED flash as well as a front facing camera can be seen on front which suggests it might be a member of the Lumia 6xx series Windows Phone and possible the successor of Lumia 630/635.
This device would be the first ever Windows Phone with Microsoft branding on it instead, of Nokia which could be seen on all previous Lumia devices.
